Controls Software & Status Monitoring
The Sunflower® control software provides closed-loop and open-loop tracking modes. Closed-loop is based on the individual module maximum solar power measurement with real-time feedback loop. Open-loop tracking is activated when a cloud shadows the Sunflower system. In this case, the feedback loop for tracking is based on continuous calibrated solar positioning data. As soon as this cloud shadowing disappears, the Sunflower modules will immediately produce power, maximizing system availability.
Control Stow-mode for wind safety at 50 mph (80.5 km/h)
Dust mitigation mode to minimize soiling
Clean mode for easy access cleaning
