Concentrating solar systems respond best to direct rays of the sun. The Sunflower® will be most advantageous in high solar resource locations such as those areas on the map that are represented by 5.0 kWh/m²/day or greater of direct normal solar radiation.

The Sunflower is designed for the specific needs of commercial and medium sized utility scale installations. Our free-standing mounting structure is well suited for field mount and for non-penetrating industrial rooftop or carport installations, starting at 70 kWpDC installations. Although we can easily scale up from 1, 2, 5, 10 to 30 MW, etc., we can also very easily scale down to 70 kWpDC rooftop and carport installations for a very competitive price.

Sunflower is typically not well suited for residential applications.
