Joseph Budano

Joseph Budano

is the CEO of Energy Innovations and brings more than 25 years of corporate leadership experience to the company. He began his career leading engineering teams at Motorola, where he was awarded five U.S. patents and several innovation awards, and then joined The Boston Consulting Group where he focused on developing and implementing market entry strategies for Fortune 100 companies. In 1994, Budano served as General Manager for Wavetek, a $70 million producer of communication equipment, where he ultimately led all North American Operations for the then $500 million Wavtek Wandel Goltermann. In 2000, he was appointed Group President for Acterna Corporation, a $1.2 billion private equity backed communications test company and in 2002 he took over as CEO of Elgar Electronics, a private equity backed supplier of power electronic equipment. Mr. Budano successfully led the turnaround and growth of Elgar and sold the company in 2007 to Xantrex Technologies. Mr. Budano holds a BSME from Boston University and an MBA with distinction from J.L. Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University.
Gregg Bone

Gregg Bone

is the Executive Vice President of Concentrator Development at Energy Innovations. He leads the business unit developing the company's Sunflower HCPV system. Gregg has over 30 years of experience in Research and Development. He is a co-founder of Gordian, the parent company of IQinVision, the world leader in megapixel IP video. Prior to IQinVision and Gordian, he founded two high-technology companies that grew into profitable and mature organizations. Gregg has a BS in Engineering and Applied Sciences in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science from the California Institute of Technology.
Mika Mostert

Mika Mostert

is the Director of Global Supply Chain for Energy Innovations. With over 20 years of experience in the automotive sector, Mika brings a wealth of experience in world-class supply chain management, logistics and supplier quality. With Visteon, Mika was responsible for all North American electronics buys, headed their Mexico Supply Chain operations, and ran Asia Pacific Supply Chain from Japan and China. Mika holds a BA degree in Economics from Brigham Young University and an MBA in finance and an MA in Latin American Studies from the University of Chicago.
Philip Joosten

Philip Joosten

serves as Energy Innovations' Vice President of Sales and Business Development. With over 25 years in sales and business development, Philip brings significant international sales and large deal experience to EI. A Dutch national, Philip spent his early career in Europe with Rohde and Schwarz selling large radio & TV broadcast systems. He later joined Wavetek, a communications equipment company. As Director European Sales, he managed the explosive growth in European sales during the rapid telecom expansion of the 90's. Wavetek became Acterna through a series of M&A transactions and Philip became the Global VP of Business Development for the Multi-Media Group selling large network management systems and instrumentation principally to cable operators. Philip then joined Peek Traffic Systems where he sold large traffic infrastructure systems to municipalities. Prior to joining Energy Innovations, Philip was VP of International Sales and Business Development with Elgar Electronics, a power electronics company. Elgar was later acquired by Xantrex Technologies and subsequently Ametek. Philip holds a BS in Electrical Engineering and a MS in RF Engineering from The University of Oudenoord in the Netherlands.
Rich Gordon

Rich Gordon

is the Director of Automation Technology for Energy Innovations. With over 27 years of experience in the industrial automation industry, Rich brings a broad range of experience in high volume automation strategy, design and implementation of robotic control systems for the assembly of mechanical components. As Key Accounts Project Manager at Yaskawa-Motoman, Rich led their material handling systems specialty. At Fanuc Robotics America, Rich managed large scale integration projects in the automotive and general industries sectors. Prior to Fanuc, Rich was the software and controls manager for Automated Concepts, a robotics system integration company specialized in high volume cutting, welding and assembly systems serving the automotive industry.
